Cameron Stiles, CID, FASID, LEED AP and Principal with KSA Interiors in Richmond, VA has been honored with the Keith Hooks Volunteer Excellence Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA).
Cameron has been involved with CIDA leadership in a variety of capacities for 13 years. Currently serving her second term on CIDA’s Accreditation Commission, she also chaired the Commission in 2008 and 2009. A member of CIDA’s Site Visitor Committee, a working group that successfully developed a new system for site visitor training, Cameron assisted in the planning and delivery of three consecutive site visitor training sessions from 2006-2008. Additionally in 2008, Cameron served on CIDA’s Accreditation Process Task Force which developed the accreditation framework (process, procedure, and support services) that led to the effective and seamless implementation of Professional Standards in 2009.
Over 130 interior design educators and practitioners currently volunteer for CIDA. Only one Keith Hooks Volunteer Excellence Award is presented annually.
